Wohoo! I just made pants that’s fits!
Well it was the first time I made pants… I made a high waist pant before I made this one and you will never see that “fancy” pants because it did really not look good on my bum! AND something did really went wrong when I made it because the fabric and I was not very good friends, and the pattern design did really not look good on me (it was a high waist pant with biiiig “cape” around the foot, and that does not look good on me because I am too short for it). I used a pattern from a Burda magazine, I don’t remember the year I bought the magazine but I know it was in November or December.
But I used the same high waist pant pattern to make my own pant pattern that would suit me more. The changes I did was to change the legs on the pants to be smaller and I removed the buttons and zippers part of the pants, so I needed only to sew a elastic band to keep the pants on my body.
It is a very soft fabric and it fits almost too good now, because it is starting to get colder outside and it feels like I am walking with a good warm and fancy sleepwear. It does feels a little bit weird wearing moe relaxing pant because I usually wear tights pants.
I am happy with how this pant is but it is a bit short (and that’s really weird because I am a short person), so next time I will need to add some more centimeters too it. It does feels a little bit weird wearing moe relaxing pant because I usually wear tights pants.
But I am already planning to make a more of the slim pants style next time!
