Earlier this year (kind of already in November 2021), I got a bit addicted to sewing blouses and dresses with collars.
Not only sewing them, decorating them too!
I thought it was a nice way of making a simple blouse or dress look a little more “exciting”. It was also a good way to hide some of my ironing mistakes. Although it did not happen all the time when I decorated them.
As I wrote about the peplum top were I decorated the collar to hide the marks after ironing the collar too much, that kind of saved the blouse from getting ruined because of the ironing mistakes on the collar.
Am I more addicted to sewing collars on blouses than flounces? No, I still like sewing flounces on blouses more.
